Korean National Aviation Museum
Honoring the Legacy of Korea’s Aviation Independence Movement
As part of the 80th anniversary of Liberation, we had the incredible honor of visiting the National Aviation Museum of Korea for a special event recognizing the legacy of Korea’s aviation independence pioneers.
It was a deeply meaningful experience to stand as descendants of Oh Im-ha, Lee Yong-sun, Han Jang-ho, Park Hee-sung, Yang Soon-jin, Kang Young-moon, and Noh Baek-rin — and to pay tribute to the sacrifices and courage of those who came before us.
A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Jin Hyung Lee and the National Aviation Museum for organizing this unforgettable gathering and for producing this beautiful video to commemorate our visit. We are proud to continue sharing and preserving this vital chapter of history.
Please take a moment to watch and remember.
Jenny - JN-1 Training Plane
Standing in front of “Jenny” the JN-1 training plane used by the Willows Korean Airmen.
Beside her, statues of the brave students who trained at the Willows Aviation School.
We had the honor of taking a photo with both — a tribute to their courage, vision, and the history they helped write in the skies.
Family Statues
A powerful moment at the aviation museum — statues of the Willows Aviation School instructors stood tall, and their descendants stood even taller beside them.
Each family posed with the statue of their ancestor, bridging generations through honor, pride, and legacy.
History came to life in the most moving way.
Flower-Laying Ceremony
We held a flower-laying ceremony in front of the aviation school statue located in the outdoor exhibition area of the National Aviation Museum of Korea.
